We build sustainable solutions to poverty by helping communities help themselves.
We have established a model that allows for community members to have a voice
when deciding how to improve their lives. We believe bottom-up solutions are often the
best way to create sustainable development.
Our community-created projects are focused on economic development. Our largest projects help farmers dramatically improve rice-yields. The dividends from their increased production can then be spent on secondary social programs in literacy, nutrition, clean water and health care. We coordinate this as sort of a "general contractor," partnering with other NGOs and companies who are experts at delivering these services.
